Neptune Marine has launched a newbuild survey vessel and sold a catamaran workboat for Irish owners, while laying the keel of a vessel for a UK port authority
Atlantic Towage & Marine is welcoming a 26-m workboat to its fleet after purchasing it from a Dutch shipbuilder and owner in January.
The Cork, Ireland-headquartered owner is awaiting the arrival of Neptun Supplier in the UK following its departure from the Netherlands. According to automatic identification system information, this EuroCarrier 2611-design vessel is en route to Avonmouth, UK, to support marine civil construction work.
Also in January, Neptune’s shipyard in Hardinxveld launched newbuild survey and support vessel, Geo Master, which the company is building for Irish Mainport Holdings.
Neptune will outfit and commission vessel systems, including its hybrid propulsion and spread for deploying survey equipment and remotely operated vehicles, ready for delivery to Mainport in March 2026.
In December, Neptune laid the keel for a EuroCarrier 2409 design vessel it is building for the UK’s Port of London Authority.
This 24-m vessel is scheduled for delivery in Q4 2026 and will have a shallow draught and low air draught, ready for deployment on the River Thames where it will support maintenance work.
That ceremony followed the sale of EuroCarrier 3314 design vessel, Inne K, by Neptune to Dong Fang Offshore in November 2025. The 33-m vessel has a bollard pull of 50 tonnes, a DP2-class dynamic positioning system and accommodation for 16 people.
Neptune said Inne K will support near-shore operations for offshore wind development projects in Taiwan.
