Columbia Shipmanagement adopts ShipServ e-commerce

Cyprus-based Columbia Shipmanagement plans to support the operational purchasing for 150 ships with ShipServ.

CSM will integrate its purchasing systems with ShipServ TradeNet, the e-commerce trading platform for operational supplies. With TradeNet in place, requisitions and orders will flow seamlessly to the CSM supply base, reducing administrative overheads, shortening order cycle times and providing CSM with better intelligence on supplier performance.

Managing director of CSM’s German operation, Andreas Hadjipetrou, comments: “We are focused on finding ways in which we can lower operating costs while continuing to provide quality services to clients worldwide.
