Subsea engineering group Oceaneering has unveiled the expanded vessel tracking and management service PortVision 360. This uses an advanced AIS-based intelligence platform to provide real-time analytics and reporting capabilities for vessel owners, charterers, offshore asset owners, and authorities. Oceaneering has added new modules and features for different specialised requirements, and enhanced alerting and notification capabilities.
Along with vessel tracking, it also has a vessel intelligence feature for access to over 50 additional data attributes on 10,000 workboats and offshore support vessels. PortVision 360 has information on ports and terminals, including data on vessel visits. It has data on more than 100 billion vessel arrivals, departures, passings, and individual vessel movements, including detailed workboat and location snapshot reports, and a vessel, point of interest or user-defined zone.
There is an option of integrating coastal and satellite AIS with radar to improve knowledge on vessels and ports. Oceaneering has improved the alerting function, with event-based alerts delivered to the desktop or e-mail. Users can customise alert criteria down to the terminal, dock and buoy level. Groups can also share notifications on fleets, vessel and terminal notes.
It also has the Dock Management System module for comprehensive marine terminal management and collaboration. There is an Offshore Asset Protection module for protecting pipelines, rigs, platforms and bridges from collisions and unauthorised encroachment. PortVision 360 can be accessed from PCs, tablets or mobile devices.
