OneLink, a new maritime service launched by OneLink Performance, consolidates service providers and integrated services from vessel performance to bunkering under one umbrella, giving maritime operators a way to improve vessel performance and manage activities
The company said the integrated service was created to solve the problem of data duplication due to operators purchasing several individual programmes which impose an extra workload for the ship and crew. OneLink is intended to help vessel operators manage the complexities of maritime performance, emissions and Marpol requirements on a single platform.
The following maritime performance platforms have been integrated under OneLink:
POCR – Vessel Performance: an ISO 9001-certified performance centre located in Cyprus, India and Philippines, which operates round the clock, year round with experienced seafarers monitoring vessels in real time. It uses AI and machine learning to optimise all aspects of navigational, operations and commercial performance via a state-of-the-art digital platform.
Bunker-Link: decision support tool utilising an AI-based pricing algorithm to help charterers, owners and operators to optimise the bunker lifecycle from purchase planning to consumption and emissions.
Route-Link: a routeing service focused on advising the best route for a vessel, based on factors such as weather forecasts, ship characteristics, ocean currents and special cargo requirements. Service support is offered 24/7 throughout the year.
Oceanly: next-generation approach to vessel automation that provides a holistic view across fleets, including old and new vessels with varying degrees of digital equipment.
Emission-Link: comprehensive fuel and emissions monitoring system to provide information regarding IMODCS/MRV/CXII needs and readiness for EU ETS reporting, greenhouse gas emissions and other relevant requirements.
Engine-Link: unique application which provides owners with crucial insight into engineroom operations and uses engineroom data for optimal machinery health by monitoring vessel KPIs. It transforms the workload of TSIs and chief engineers.
Lube-Link: streamlined lubricant management which delivers operational expertise and access to a range of high-quality lubricants at competitive prices, through single-interface reporting.
Ariva 360: a gamified virtual reality application to help crew and officers familiarise themselves with specific safety and technical features found on the vessel. This service offers a seafarer training programme which uses augmented/virtual reality and real-world situations.
IoT-Link: monitoring tool using state-of-the-art smart cameras, wireless vibration and temperature sensors on the vessel to reduce breakdowns and improve equipment functionality and reliability.
As an aggregator of new and existing services, OneLink said it starts with a vessel portfolio of more than 900 vessels ranging from gas carriers to offshore platforms. Shipmanager Columbia Shipmanagement has signed up to the service as an early adopter.
