CIMC SOE said it has booked two 20,000-m³ and one 18,900-m³ LNG bunkering vessel orders
Nantong CIMC Sinopacific Offshore & Engineering Co Ltd (CIMC SOE) has reported new contracts covering three LNG bunkering vessels.
In a statement, the company said it is “securing orders for two 20,000-m³ LNG bunkering vessels and one 18,900-m³ LNG bunkering vessel”.
The notice did not identify the owners, disclose contract values, or state delivery timing.
CIMC SOE added, “To date, CIMC SOE’s orderbook for the 20,000-m³ LNG bunker vessel model has reached a cumulative total of 10 vessels, while orders for the 18,900-m³ LNG bunker vessel model now stand at three vessels.”
According to Clarksons, CIMC SOE has completed five LNG bunkering vessels with an aggregate capacity of 47,504 m³ and has another 19 LNG bunkering vessels on order with an aggregate capacity of 361,200 m³, making it the current leading yard for orders.
