A treasure trove for ideas, connections and business
Shopping lists of planned investments were shared, and technology needs highlighted
December’s Maritime Decarbonization Conference in Houston saw shippers, carriers and ports connect with the maritime supply chain to do business that will drive maritime decarbonisation.
Practical decarbonisation strategies were refined across a varied programme of networking, roundtable discussions, lightning talks and conference papers.
Shopping lists of planned investments were shared, and technology needs highlighted. Innovative business models to aggregate cargo owner demand and unlock investment in zero emissions fuels and vessels were also presented. Delegates heard about pilot programmes and supply clusters that can help reduce risk for early adopters. From fuels to data, ports to policies, the conversations were rich and thought-provoking.
Other programme highlights included a drinks reception at a spectacular local venue - the perfect complement to two full and worthwhile days.
Riviera returns to Houston three times in 2024. Offshore Support Journal Conference Americas takes place in July; CO2 Shipping and Terminals Conference Americas takes place in September and Maritime Decarbonization Americas in December. We hope you can join us.
