A joint venture between AD Ports and Columbia will use data analytics to optimise engineroom machinery and lubricants sourcing
Shipmanagement joint venture Noatum CSM will use data analytics to strengthen its spares and services purchasing.
The joint venture between AD Ports and Columbia will use data to align its fleet operations with regulatory compliance and sustainability requirements. It will access digital tools and specialist support services when purchasing machinery spares and lubricants to raise operational efficiency, lower costs and improve control across key spending.
Noatum CSM said an agreement signed in Dubai, UAE, with GP General Procurement (GenPro) provides access to a supplier ecosystem, digital tools, consolidated purchasing structures and market benchmarking.
“This collaboration reinforces our commitment to structured purchasing, governance and ESG alignment,” said Noatum CSM chief executive Julian Panter.
“Access to compliant supplier frameworks and auditable processes supports both operational efficiency and supply chain resilience across our fleet.”
This collaboration will be implemented over Noatum CSM’s fleet on a phased basis, with an initial focus on performance monitoring suppliers, quality assurance and overseeing compliance.
“Our role is to provide governance, supplier oversight and data-led insight, while aligning with Noatum CSM’s operational requirements and strategic direction,” said GenPro managing director Maria Theodosiou.
