DNV GL deploys ShipManager on Vertom-Bojen fleet

DNV GL is deploying ShipManager integrated fleet management software on a fleet of more than 40 bulk carriers, general cargo and multipurpose vessels operated by Vertom-Bojen Bereederderungs. Its implementation removes the issue of different software systems being deployed across two fleets.

When Vertom and Bojen Reederei established the new joint organisation the two fleets were operating different fleet management software, and were not integrated. Vessel data was collated, but not streamlined. The management team decided to order ShipManager for the whole fleet to standardise data collection and analysis. The analysis, benchmarking and decision support is provided by the ShipManager Analyzer element of the software. The entire ShipManager suite includes modules for technical services, procurement, health and safety, crewing and project management.
