Connecting Audiences
Riviera produce a mix of Podcasts under the title ’Maritime Today’, these range from regular short interviews with key industry executives, monthly Market Updates and special events coverage from the commercial shipping industry. Some of these are sponsored by companies who wish to work with us to include Podcasts within their marketing campaigns.
Why utilise a podcast in your marketing promotion campaign?
In many cases, podcasts are most suitable for businesses who want to raise awareness and visibility, gaining value from exposure to customers in the early stages of their journey.
Raise visibility
A podcast can help you engage new audiences, particularly if you are looking to get an announcement heard about a new product or gain visibility to help people understand what your company is all about.
Establish yourself as an industry expert
The best podcasts are thought-provoking and provide a unique angle on topics. By one of your team leading a conversation and answering questions that help move the industry forward, your business could be looked upon as an expert in your choosen field.
Create valuable content you can use in multiple ways
Podcasts can help with creating a waterfall effect, with content that is first created during your podcast recording and then broken out into blog posts or articles on your website. These can be further repurposed into short social media posts or infographics, delivering impactful content to support your investment.
Professional moderation
Our Podcasts are often moderated by one of our senior editors. Our team help with curation, are well briefed on the subject matter, ask the right questions and edit the recording before making it live. Often these elements are overlooked during an internal Podcast process.

A brief description of how our Podcast projects work:
Working with Riviera to deliver a Podcast will consist of a pre-arranged online meeting between your executive and one of our senior editors to discuss the topic and curate the content. A time will then be planned for the Podcast to be recorded which typically lasts 15-30 minutes. The recording is then edited, shared with your executive to approve and then published across our platforms and hosted in our podcast library so our audiences can access the Podcast on demand.
Riviera uses the content from its Podcasts on its websites www.rivieramm.com , newsletters and relevant printed/ digital media: Riviera - Maritime Marketing Magazines (rivieramm.com) , which significantly increases the visibility of the Podcast content and furthers the reach of your thought leadership.
Please contact a sales representative HERE to discuss how we can assist your company in planning and delivering a Podcast or a series of Podcasts and let us help project your business as a thought leader in your chosen area of expertise.
